Using CleanTech® is simple, but there are some things to remember when using the station. To ensure your process is effective don't forget to mention the following when training employees:
1: Palm down, fingers spread
When you stick your hands in the system the cycle will start automatically. It's important to have your palms down and fingers spread to ensure all the surfaces of your hand are clean.
2. Wait the ENTIRE 12-seconds
Do not pull your hands out until the cylinders stop spinning! CleanTech® doesn't waste any time, so washing for the entire 12-second cycle is critical.
3. Don't rest your arms on the system
While your hands are in the cylinders it's important to not rest your arms on the station. This can create a cross-contamination point!
4. Flick your fingers once the cycle completes
To help maintain a safe hygiene zone, after the cycle is finished the user should flick their fingers to remove excess water before drying.
4. Dry completely
Dry completely with a paper towel. Paper towels are by far the most sanitary drying method, plus leaving moisture on your hands can create a breeding ground for bacteria.
