General information:
Put on all appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
We recommend a minimum of protective glasses and gloves.
Disconnect your system
Whenever you are cleaning or working on the CleanTech Handwashing System you must disconnect the system from the electrical source and follow your lockout and tagout procedure for cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.
Do not use a power washer
When cleaning your equipment do not use a power washer to clean. This can damage equipment.
Schedule:
Daily
Clean the exterior of your system on a daily basis:
- Start with a disinfectant cleaner to clean the entire system
- Follow that up with a foaming cleaner
- Finish with a non-alcohol wipe cleaning product
- Spray cylinders with a disinfectant cleaner, after letting the cleaner dwell for 15-30 seconds, scrub the cylinders with a scrub brush
Weekly
Clean the interior of your system on a weekly basis:
Start with a disinfectant cleaner to clean the entire system
- Follow that up with a foaming cleaner

- For tough spots use a Scotch-Brite pad - DO NOT USE the Scotch-Brite on any plastic, e-mod cover or photo-eyes.
- Use a hydrogen peroxide/water mixture to the cylinders and use a scrub brush to thoroughly clean the cylinders out. This will help kill any bacteria that may be in the system.
