MERITECH Promotes New Leadership in Response to Accelerated Growth

GOLDEN, Colo., Dec. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Meritech, manufacturer of the world's only fully automated, completely touch-free handwashing systems as well as a full line of footwear scrubbing and sanitizing equipment, is pleased to announce the promotion of Michele Colbert to President of Meritech and the simultaneous promotion of Alison Smithto Vice President of Sales. Both promotions respond to Meritech's explosive growth in the employee hygiene industry in many markets over the past five years.

Ms. Colbert has over 25 years of experience in various hygiene and sanitation markets and is a recognized expert in hand hygiene and footwear hygiene practices as a means for reducing the spread of disease.   Michele's new responsibilities include oversight of Meritech global sales efforts, as well as responsibility for all customer service and customer care.  She will also continue to have oversight of the marketing team and will help shape the strategic direction of the company.

Alison Smith, who joined Meritech three years ago as a Sales Manager with responsibility for all West Coast sales and for all Cleanroom industry sales, has been promoted to Vice President of Sales, where she will have the primary responsibility for sales strategy and leading the growing team of Regional and Product Sales Managers.

Mrs. Smith was previously with VWR as a Production Chemical Specialist, and she also worked in sales and leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Chata Biosystems. Mrs. Smith received a BS in Chemistry from University of Puget Sound.
