Using a Meritech Boot Scrubber is simple, but there are some things to remember when using the station. To ensure your process is effective don't forget to mention the following when training employees:

1: Center your shoes on the brushes

When stepping on the station be sure your shoes are centered on the brushes. This ensures the entire sole of the shoe is sanitized. 

2. 6-8 seconds of contact time

Do not speed through the station! In order to ensure all soils are removed and enough sanitizer comes in contact with the soles of footwear, you should walk slowly through the equipment for 6-8 seconds. 

3. Use the handrails

While you walk through the boot scrubber be sure to hold onto the handrails. It's possible to lose your balance due to the brushes rotating underfoot. 

4. Be wary of slippery shoes

As you exit the station the soles of your footwear may be slippery. Be cautious as you exit the station as your footwear dries completely.
