It is designed for wet manufacturing environments so it does need a floor drain.  ![EVO Three Boot Dip](https://www.meritech.com/hs-fs/hubfs/EVO%20Three%20Boot%20Dip.png?width=300&height=300&name=EVO%20Three%20Boot%20Dip.png) The CleanTech® Handwashing Station with the Automatic Boot Dip automatically maintains the 800-1000 PPM as recommended by the FDA and USDA. It mixes 1.8ml of our scientifically-backed [Hygiene Solution](https://www.meritech.com/products/hygiene-solutions/) (you can [read the efficacy study](https://www.meritech.com/efficacy) here) and mixes that with about 200ml of water so that every user is getting the proper amount for footwear sanitation for food safety.  The back of the Automatic Boot Dip enhancement for our automated handwashing station actually has a debris area that keeps the pan clear of debris and prevents debris from splashing onto the floor. To clean it out simply pull the pan away from the system and empty the debris area. The system will moisten the shoe sanitizing mat in the pan automatically, and after every 10 people will automatically add more of the hygiene solution directly into the pan to ensure the mat is moist for footwear sanitation. [Extensive efficacy studies](https://www.meritech.com/efficacy) have been done with the Sole Clean Dry Sanitizer against dangerous pathogens like Salmonella  and Listeria.
